CREATING ENVIRONMENT FOR AAA GAMES
WORKFLOW TO BUILDING GAME-READY ENVIRONMENTS
Course description
This course is designed to guide you step-by-step through the modern video game production pipeline, using the most common industry-standard software. Instead of tackling an expansive open-world project, students will work on a manageable, small-scale scene built from modular assets. This approach allows for quick environment assembly while maintaining a strong focus on creating high-quality, reusable assets and learning at a steady, structured pace. Although the scope is smaller, the 8-week schedule is still intensive, so it’s crucial for students to stay diligent and committed throughout this critical period. The timeline is designed to mirror the pace and expectations of a real-world art test, giving students valuable insight into professional production workflows. Over the duration of the course, students will learn practical industry tips and techniques for efficient modeling, asset optimization, and setting up proper file structures to work seamlessly in a collaborative, studio-level environment. By the end, they will have a polished scene ready for portfolio presentation and the confidence to tackle professional projects.
